Funny guy, though sadly doesn't know currency conversion rates, and that they vary across different calculators, including Valves.
I was under the impression that when our "Conversation" ended, that he still didn't understand. So I'll lay it all out clearly here, all while readers around the world educate themselves on what 1 key is equal to in BRL. Or what 1 USD = ??? in BRL.
Many websites will tell you different things.
Google Says: $R 2.40 = $1.00 USD
PayPal Says: $R 2.31 (Which is what he was going off of)
However, calculations prove that Valve values: $R 2.416 as $1.00 USD.
Evidence:
Image 01 (Key cost before tax, in USD, and $R, these are both the same listings, just in different countries)
Image 02 (Inspect element revealing what each one is worth after tax.)
Image 03 (Using Simple Division to figure out the rate)
Image 04 (Starting to make sure our ratio of 2.416 is accurate)
Image 05 (Comparing)
Image 07 (Result, which is Slightly different due to the large quantity. This calculation shows $R 2.420 vs $R 2.416. Essentially it's rounded up, which can happen. Thus our math is proven accurate-enough.)
TL;DR Don't make sarcastic remarks that imply I don't know what I'm talking about.
