no u cant, maybe u have done it with other blizzard games that can be done, but not with Overwatch. Do some google about it or ask support team on bnet chat. but hey its ur trade so gl with that.
Well if you are so sure i will definitely look into it, maybe it has changed??, I will send a message to support. In any case thanks for the warning, I will let you know what they say. I do know that for Starcraft2 it is(was?) possible. I will check for Overwatch with support.
There has to be a way to gift, otherwise they are just harming themselves...
With starcraft I have done it. You can try yourself, there is a gift option next to the buy option for the SC2 games.
True enough there is indeed no such option for overwatch atm , so thanks to @b3lcebu for warning me and apologies for my initial dismissal.
I will contact support and ask them if it will ever become available.
You are right indeed, and for the moment and foreseeable future Overwatch is not giftable as digital purchase. Closing this thread then till that changes. and thanks for the warning.
(for anyone else that reads this note that this is not true of all battle.net games. SC2 games at least are giftable)
